Amsterdam holds its modern art market on the Thorbeckeplein. It is running every Sunday from March 19th to the end of October.
The square is the setting for numerous Dutch artists. Visitors can also sit for their own picture via one of the many portrait painters who frequent the area.

If you `ve been in the centre of the city and want to have a cup of really god coffee you should choose Caffe Esprit. You don`t have to wander for a miles.
I don`t recommend it when the weather isn`t good. But, when during the sunny day is realy nice place to stay in for a few minutes to relax and nabrac strenghts for the next part of exploring Amsterdam. What `s great – cups with coffee are really huge comparing with those in other cafeterias. Additionaly, the service is really fast thanks to whizz – bang wireless ordering system.
